LAPP Tannehill Hires Sales Development Rep

Meet Cerena Brazier, LAPP Tannehill's newest Sales Development Representative who will be identifying opportunities and helping potential and existing clients understand how our products or services can meet their needs.

What are past positions you've held in your career? And what skills/experience do you bring to this position?
I bring nearly 20 years of experience in the industry. I began my journey at Digi-Key Electronics, where I held various roles within sales, including global sales, non-catalog, custom cable, and assigned accounts. Transitioning to the procurement side, I gained valuable expertise in supplier services and inventory planning—interestingly, one of my suppliers during this time was LAPP USA. In 2022, I joined Master Electronics as a Product Manager, further expanding my skill set. Over the years I have built a comprehensive understanding of the needs and priorities of customers, suppliers, and internal departments. This enables me to foster successful relationships and drive collaboration across all fronts.

What’s your favorite part about working in your field?
The incredible relationships that I have built.

What’s a new skill you’re hoping to learn or improve in this role?
Previously I was working in a broader scope with Electromechanical and some Inter-Connect. So, I am really excited to focus specifically in the Cable/Wire Industry and deepen my understanding of the products.

If you could switch careers for a day, what would you do?
Lawyer or Private Investigator 

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? What are your hobbies/passions?
Spending time with my family, hunting, fishing, anything near the water. I am happiest near the water.

Do you have a favorite book, movie, or TV show at the moment?
My favorite movie is definitely Goodfellas. 

What’s something surprising about you that most people wouldn’t guess?
I am an 80’s rock girl at heart! 

Do you have a hidden talent or skill you’d like to share?
I have a photographic memory so I am really good at random Trivia - or as I call them - useless facts. 

What is one thing unrelated to work that motivates you every day?
My family.

If you could give your younger self advice, what would it be?
Work hard and keep your head up….Life turns out exactly as it’s supposed to. That is what is so beautiful about it!

What is something that helps you through the workday?
I am always listening to music. 

What's the most unique item on your desk or in your workspace?
I have a tape dispenser that is a shaped like a gold high heel shoe. 

What's a hidden gem (restaurant, vacation spot, park, shop, online shop, etc.) that you think more people should know about?
I think everyone should experience sitting on the Champ de Mars during sunset eating a crepe as the Eiffel Tower sparkles.
